| The Retreat |
| |
| Centre, Clear and
Connect to yourself and take some time to feed your body, mind
and soul. |
| |
The Retreat has been designed to be fun
and multi faceted, creating a space where people, as multi
dimensional beings, can re connect to themselves on a physical,
mental, emotional and spiritual level. It is an integrated
retreat of self discovery and awakening, combining Liberating
Arts, Yoga and quiet contemplation, held in a peaceful and
natural setting in Bali’s heart land.
Bali Purnati Center for the Arts, as an arts
centre, is an ideal location for such a retreat. Have a look
at their web site for more information about the work that
they do in support of the Arts in Bali and for the retreats
they host. |

| LIBERATING ARTS |
| |
Liberating Arts is an innovative and
creative journey into the self and the realm of feelings.
It’s designed to build a bridge between your mind, your
heart and your intuition so that you can centre, clear and
connect to yourself. |
| |
To
live life is to feel life. To feel life is to be present in
ourselves with our three centres moving in harmony, as the
intellect and the intuition find their place within the heart. |
Through a combination of colour, sound,
guided mediation and discussion, resistances to feelings are
released and blocks begin to clear. You awaken your intuition,
stimulating creativity and strengthening your sensitivity.
A greater sense of self awareness develops, creativity increases
and life changes.
This is an empowering and transformational
experience, supported by journeying in quiet contemplation
and Yoga sessions each morning or afternoon.

| Facilitator –
Nicky Kassapian |
| |

Nicky
creates a safe space for you to build a bridge to your
essential self, so that you can realise your full potential
and recover your personal essence. Her strong intuitive
clarity, integrity and compassion, creates a harmonious
space where your ‘dis-ease’ can transform,
attuning and sensitising you to your own energy and
connecting you to your essential self.
Dedicated to
empowering you to become more aware of your own creations
and feelings and how they impact on your energy flow,
Nicky guides you to find the answers within, introducing
you to a set of practical, effective and easy to master
tools, so that you start to live life as you choose.

|
| |
As an artist, Reiki
Master, practitioner and an Avatar Master, it is little wonder
that Nicky was driven to perform alchemy and create the Liberating
Arts programme. After attending an art workshop in 2004, she
was given the base element and permission by the teacher Philip
Arndt, ‘to take it and run with it’
This she did, drawing
upon her knowledge and experience of energy work for additional
elements, as well as, taking elements from the personal development,
life skills programs and motivational trainings she facilitates.
When blending all this together in the heart space, alchemy
occurred and the Liberating Arts programme was created.
Nicky initially conducted
this program for private individuals wanting to re-connect
to their essential selves and increase their creativity in
Singapore, then for Ngo’s in Cambodia, working with
street children and trafficked women. More recently it has
been a component of international retreats, conferences, management
motivation workshops and a Master in Residence programme.
Nicky has been a Master
in Residence for Life Style Retreats at The Bale, for the
Uma Como Shambala hotel in Paro Bhutan, and at Hotel de la
Paix and The Shinta Mani in Siem Reap, Camboida

Feeding the body, focusing the mind and
creating a space for the soul, Yoga sessions will be held
once a day for mixed ability classes. The sessions will consist

breathing - and a guided mediation. |

| Facilitator - Jen Oliveiro |
| |
| |
Jen
was first introduced to yoga 10 years ago in New York,
after leaving the School for Oriental and African Studies
(SOAS) in London, where she studied Chinese Art. In
1997 Jen had returned to live on land, after sailing
around the world with her boyfriend, on a 14m ketch. |
|
| |
On her return from
New York, Jen met her teacher Clive Sheridan, who introduced
her to vinyasa, pranayama (yogic breathing), meditation and
advaita vedanta (self enquiry). This led her to a rich asana
practice, learning astanga from Richard Freeman and Pattabhi
Jois, Iyengar with Faeq Biria and Scaravelli yoga with Diane
Long, in Rome and John Stirk, in London.
Her training as a cranio sacral therapist at the College of
Cranio Sacral studies, in London, began her interest to a
more intuitive approach to yoga. Cranio sacral and her interest
in pranayama, led her to teach pregnancy yoga and baby yoga,
as taught by Janet Balaskas and later train as a Birthlight
teacher with Francoise Freeman.
Jen has taught at kx gym, the Life Centre and triyoga in London,
and on retreats in England and Greece. She likes to deepen
her practice on retreat in India every year.

| Purnati’s
highly spiritual, private and sacred location is ideal for
successful Yoga retreats, trainings and seminars.
Within our environmentally-conscious grounds are a performing
arts amphitheatre, a large pavilion, a traditional temple,
comfortable housing and a beautiful swimming pool overlooking
rice terraces.
Meditation sites, generous
and open or small and intimate can be found throughout the
gardens. One of most secluded and an early morning favorite
is on the edge of Purnati’s property, between Mbeng
River and an ancient cave with a holy spring.
The name Purnati refers
in Balinese to a peaceful or pure heart.

| “Practicing
and teaching yoga felt wonderful at Purnati, where the land
is as sacred and ancient as the practice itself. The serenity
of the nature and temples surrounding us provided a space
where we could bring to life yoga's many elements including
song, movement, and the sharing of ideas and experience.
Thank you, Purnati, for your commitment to the international
Yoga community!"
